Ausom Enterprise Ltd, originally established as Core Emballage Ltd in 1984, is based in Ahmedabad and operates primarily in the trading of commodities, including bullions, gold jewellery, diamonds, derivatives, shares, and securities. It also manufactures gold jewellery. Initially a leasing company, Ausom Enterprise diversified in the mid-1990s into chemicals, bulk drugs, and paper manufacturing, investing significantly in these sectors. The company developed a chemical complex in Gujarat and a recycled paper plant, complementing its expansion with a MoU with Canada’s H A Simons for engineering and construction services.
In 1999-2000, the company further expanded its brand presence by launching Eco-Logic, a chain of retail showrooms selling eco-friendly products. Ausom Enterprise has been recognized for its quality, winning the 'Indian Star' award. In 2020, it formed a joint venture, IGR AUSOM LLP, to enhance its business operations.
