Located in Walchandnagar, Maharashtra, the company is a prominent manufacturer of various spirits, including Rectified Spirit, Denatured Spirit, Neutral Alcohol, and Extra Neutral Alcohol, alongside Potash and related products. It primarily serves the chemical and pharmaceutical industries with its high-alcohol content spirits.
The company has expanded through strategic acquisitions and amalgamations, notably acquiring a distillery unit in 2005 and merging with Aditya Petro Chemicals in 2013. To modernize operations, Aurangabad Distillery shifted to automated distillation technology in 2015-16. In 2021, it earned ISO certifications for its production and export capabilities. Notably, the company began ethanol production in 2022 and bolstered its sustainability efforts by establishing a 1 MW solar power plant in 2023. The company went public in 2016, raising Rs 7.7 crore through an equity share issue.
