ASL Industries Limited, originally established as Ajanta Industries in 1983, is a manufacturing company based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Initially a partnership, it transitioned through several name changes and structural shifts before becoming a public limited company in 2016. ASL Industries is involved in manufacturing forged products and sheet metal components, catering to industries such as railway, defense, and automotive. The company boasts advanced facilities, including CNC and VMC machining centers, heat treatment, die-making, and fabrication units.
ASL Industries holds ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications for environmental and occupational health standards, along with ISO/TS 16949:2009 for quality management in producing pressed and machined components. In 2015, it expanded by acquiring a forging division from ASL Enterprises Limited. In 2017, ASL Industries raised Rs 9.8 crore through a public issue. However, in 2022-23, the company shifted focus by selling its plant and machinery, using proceeds for short-term loans and income generation.
