About Asian Hotels (West) Ltd Asian Hotels (West) Ltd, established in January 2007, operates in the hospitality industry, owning and managing hotel properties. Initially named Chillwinds Hotels Pvt Ltd, it became a public limited entity in August 2007. Through a de-merger scheme with Asian Hotels Ltd, the company acquired the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Mumbai and shares in Aria Hotels & Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, leading to its renaming to Asian Hotels (West) Ltd in 2010. The company is publicly traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange since August 2010.
Asian Hotels (West) Ltd has expanded its portfolio by acquiring property in Pune for hotel development and holds a stake in Inovoa Hotels & Resorts Ltd, with plans to increase this stake, making Inovoa a subsidiary. Additionally, its subsidiary, Aria Hotels, is developing a 500+ room 5-star hotel under the J.W. Marriott brand in New Delhi, expected to be operational by mid-2012, with a project cost of approximately Rs 700 crore.
