ASI Industries Ltd, originally known as Associated Stone Industries (Kotah) Ltd, was established in January 1945 by the Jatias of Rajasthan. The company specializes in the mining and processing of natural stones and has maintained a strong dividend and bonus record since its inception. Over the years, ASI Industries expanded its operations to include marble products and textiles through the amalgamation of Prerna Syntex, creating a facility to produce cotton combed hosiery yarn.
The company has undertaken significant projects, such as a Rs 15 Crores mechanization initiative and establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary, ASI Global Limited in Mauritius, to acquire limestone mining operations in the UAE. However, in recent years, the company has divested its international mining interests and wind power units in response to changing market conditions and profitability challenges. Renaming itself ASI Industries Ltd in 2018, the company continues to adapt its portfolio and focus on its core strengths in the natural stone industry.
