About Aries Agro Ltd Aries Agro Ltd, headquartered in Mumbai, is a pioneering Indian multinational company established in 1969 by Dr. T.B. Mirchandani and Mrs. Bala Mirchandani. The company specializes in a broad range of fertilizers, including primary, secondary, and specialized plant nutrient fertilizers. Aries Agro is renowned for introducing innovative agricultural technologies like Chelation Technology, biodegradable nutrient complexes, and water-soluble NPK fertilizers to Indian farmers. Initially a manufacturer of mineral feed additives for animals, Aries Agro expanded in 1975 into plant nutrition, focusing on chelated micronutrients and bactericides.
The company has grown its manufacturing capabilities with plants in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow, achieving a total capacity of 84,600 MT per annum by 2008. Internationally, Aries Agro expanded by acquiring shares in Golden Harvest Middle East FZC and later, Amarak Chemicals FZC. Recently, in 2021, Aries resumed operations in Fujairah, UAE, adding value-added sulfur products to its portfolio for global markets.
