Ardee Industries Limited was incorporated on September 16, 1993 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu as a private limited company and was later converted into a public limited company. The company’s name was changed to Ardee Industries Limited, with the change recorded by the Registrar of Companies (Central Registration Centre) on May 6, 2025.
The company took over manufacturing operations of pure lead and lead alloys in 2021 and began exports in the same year. It operates in non-ferrous metals and batteries, including processing, refining, mixing, and recycling of lead-related materials such as lead oxide and red oxide.
Ardee specializes in producing pure lead and lead alloys meeting international standards, with reported purity levels ranging from 99.97% to 99.985%. It operates a manufacturing plant in Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh, with an installed capacity of 1,04,025 MPTA. The company’s recycling operations focus on recovering and converting end-of-life energy storage products and non-ferrous scrap into high-quality outputs, primarily pure lead and lead alloys. Its alloy product range includes lead calcium, lead antimony, lead tin, lead silver, and lead cadmium alloys.
The company is planning an IPO comprising a fresh issue of Rs 320 crore (equity shares of face value Rs 2 each) and an offer for sale of 37,650,000 equity shares.
