About Apcotex Industries Ltd Apcotex Industries Limited, established in 1986, specializes in the production and marketing of emulsion polymers, including synthetic latexes and rubbers such as synthetic butadiene and nitrile butadiene rubber. These products serve diverse industries, providing applications in tire cord dipping, paper coating, carpet backing, concrete modification, textile finishing, and more. The company operates a plant in Taloja, Maharashtra, producing vinyl pyridine latex (VPL) for the tire industry, and has expanded its facilities to increase the production of synthetic rubber significantly.
Notable expansions include the acquisition of Omnova Solutions India Private Limited in 2016 and the subsequent amalgamation with Apcotex Solutions India Private Limited and Saldhar Investment and Trading Company Private Limited. The company has also enhanced its technological capabilities by implementing SAP S4 Hana and commissioning a Co-gen Power Plant. In 2022-23, Apcotex further expanded its production capacity by commissioning a 50,000MT nitrile latex plant in Gujarat and a 35,000MT multi-purpose latex plant in Maharashtra.
