Renowned for its printing capabilities, the company boasts advanced facilities including a 4-colour and a 5-colour offset printing press, alongside a sophisticated colour pre-press unit equipped with the latest imaging and graphic design technologies. In 1994, Antarctica Ltd. went public to fund a Rs 20.25-crore export-oriented unit for printed packaging materials, specifically printed colour cartons used in packaging tea, coffee, cosmetics, liquor, spices, and pharmaceuticals for export.
The company has collaborated with Man Roland, Germany, for technical guidance, enhancing its production processes. Currently, Antarctica Ltd. is expanding its operations at the Falta Export Processing Zone. It has recently issued 10.83 million equity shares to finance this expansion and repay term loans, indicating a strategic focus on growth and financial restructuring.
