Amtech Esters Limited was incorporated on May 21, 2002 as Amtech Esters Private Limited and converted into a public limited company as Amtech Esters Limited on December 12, 2023. The company was founded by S. Avtar Singh Bawa along with his son Ajit Singh Bawa.
The company manufactures Unsaturated Polyester Resins and also trades in fiberglass, hardeners & ancillaries, and silicon. Its manufacturing unit is located at 2012 MIE, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Haryana. The installed resin production capacity was 2,960 MTPA as of March 31, 2024, and 740 MT as of June 30, 2024.
Amtech’s product portfolio includes resins such as polyester and epoxy resin, and it supplies industrial inputs used in paints, varnishes, dyes, and glue gums. The company serves multiple end-use sectors including dressing accessories (beads/buttons), switchgears, sculptures, automotive industries, and other chemical product applications. Its resins are also used in FRP sheets, cooling towers, automobile components, fiber sheets, waterproofing applications, and decorative items.
In 2023, the company acquired a subsidiary, Croda Pigments Private Limited. Amtech is planning an IPO of 10,80,000 equity shares to raise Rs 11.88 crore, comprising a fresh issue of up to 8,10,000 shares (Rs 8.91 crore) and an offer for sale of up to 2,70,000 shares (Rs 2.97 crore).
