About Amines & Plasticizers Ltd Amines & Plasticizers Ltd (APL), established in 1973, is a leading Indian producer of ethanolamines, morpholine, and alkyl morpholine, with a significant global presence in organic chemicals. These products have diverse applications across industries such as oil refineries, natural gas, petrochemicals, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agrochemicals. APL operates manufacturing facilities in Navi Mumbai and an industrial gas plant in Khopoli. The company also has a wholly-owned subsidiary in the UAE engaged in specialty chemicals trading.
Despite being declared a sick company by the BIFR, APL has undertaken several initiatives for rehabilitation and growth, including agreements with international engineering consultancies and expansion projects. It commercialized a pharmaceutical intermediate product, 'Morpholine,' meeting international standards, and expanded its ethoxylation and propoxylation capacities to enhance production versatility. APL also integrated its engineering services division, enhancing its fabrication and infrastructural capabilities. The company continues to increase production capacities and explore new markets, contributing to its strategic growth.
