About AMD Industries Ltd AMD Industries Limited, originally established as Ashoka Metal Decor Private Limited, underwent multiple name changes and became a public company in 2006. Specializing in the manufacturing of packaging solutions, AMD produces PET preforms, PET bottles, crown caps, closures, and PET jars and containers. It also provides job work operations for PET preforms. The company began its operations with two plants in 1986 and 1989, expanding with a third unit in 1995 and further in 2000.
In 2002, AMD ventured into preform manufacturing, establishing its first line, followed by a second in 2003. The company imported a crown manufacturing plant from Italy in 2004, enhancing its production capabilities at Neemrana, Rajasthan. Further expansion included a new PET line in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, boosting capacity by 2700 MT annually in 2007-08. By 2010, AMD expanded its Neemrana operations, commencing commercial production of a new PET Preform and Closure Line.
