About Amarjothi Spinning Mills Ltd Amarjothi Spinning Mills (ASM), established in 1987 and public since 1991, is a prominent yarn manufacturing company in Tamil Nadu, India. The company specializes in cotton yarn production, employing advanced ring spinning systems and state-of-the-art textile machinery sourced from reputable manufacturers. ASM launched its operations in 1994-95, following a public equity issue and has progressively expanded its spindle capacity, reaching 18,992 spindles by 1996-97.
In addition to its core spinning operations, ASM has invested significantly in renewable energy, installing multiple wind power generation facilities. By 2010-11, the company had increased its wind energy capacity to 17.60 MW, primarily for captive use. ASM also operates a dyeing unit with a capacity of 5,000 kg per day.
