About Allcargo Terminals Ltd Allcargo Terminals Limited, established in 2019 and converted to a public entity in 2022, is a prominent player in India's logistics sector, specializing in Container Freight Stations (CFS) and Inland Container Depots (ICD). Operating an asset-light business model, the company manages seven facilities across India—four fully owned and three through subsidiaries and joint ventures. As one of the largest CFS operators in India, Allcargo Terminals boasts a capacity exceeding one million square feet, providing essential services like customs clearance, stuffing/destuffing, weighment, and storage.
Originally a division of Allcargo Logistics Limited, the company launched its first CFS at JNPT in Mumbai in 2003 and expanded its network to include facilities in Chennai, Mundra, Kolkata, and ICD Dadri, among others. In 2022-23, following a demerger from Allcargo Logistics, Allcargo Terminals absorbed the CFS/ICD business, culminating in its shares being listed in August 2023. This strategic growth and restructuring underscore its significant role in supporting India's port infrastructure.
