Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the company specializes in manufacturing components for rolling stock used by Indian Railways and its production units, like Integral Coach Factory (ICF). It also executes turnkey interior furnishing projects for Indian Railways and collaborates with global rolling stock OEMs. In addition to railway components, it manufactures high-precision components for the aerospace and defense sectors.
The company has demonstrated consistent innovation and expansion within the rail and aerospace industries. It was the first Indian entity to supply powder-coated aluminum to railway coaches in 2004 and secured its first international export coach windows order for Angola in 2005. Over time, Airfloa has diversified its offerings, venturing into metro rail infrastructure in 2010 and coach body-building in 2016. The company entered the aerospace sector in 2019 and completed a turnkey interior furnishing project for 97 passenger coaches for Sri Lanka between 2021 and 2023, showcasing strong operational capacity in international markets.
