Acme India Industries Limited, incorporated in 2021 and converted from a private to a public company in July 2024, operates in India’s railway rolling stock sector. The company designs, manufactures and maintains railway coach interiors, serving Indian Railways and related requirements.
Its offerings include turnkey furnishing of new railway coaches, refurbishment, upgradation and conversion of older LHB and ICF coaches, and modernization of railway toilet facilities. It also manufactures and supplies railway coach components. The company initially entered the sector through braille signage and fire-retardant epoxy flooring before expanding into comprehensive coach furnishing and refurbishment services from 2017.
Acme operates two manufacturing facilities in Sonipat, Haryana, with a combined area of more than 116,000 square feet. Since 2017, it has completed 28 turnkey furnishing projects covering 1,610 coaches and upgraded 10,948 railway toilet units. Its business is therefore closely linked to demand for railway coach modernization, refurbishment and infrastructure-related contracts.
The company is planning an Initial Public Offer of 7,288,800 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of 6,487,200 shares and an offer for sale of 801,600 shares.
