About 5paisa Capital Ltd 5Paise Capital Limited (5PCL) is an online trading platform company, originally established as India Infoline Finance Holdings Limited in 2007. It has undergone several name changes, finally becoming 5Paisa Capital Limited in 2015. A wholly-owned subsidiary of IIFL Holdings Ltd, the company offers online trading services on the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Ltd through web and mobile platforms, along with a Call and Trade Unit. It is a SEBI-approved research analyst, a CDSL Depository Participant, and a registered AMFI member, providing depository services, mutual funds, bonds, and debentures distribution, and equity research.
In 2016, 5PCL was demerged from IIFL Holdings Limited, becoming an independent entity listed on BSE and NSE in 2017. The demerger followed a capital infusion from its parent company. In 2022, 5PCL introduced Margin-Plus for derivative traders and in 2023, established a wholly owned IFSC subsidiary, 5Paisa International Securities (IFSC) Limited.
