3D Blackbio DX Ltd, formerly Kilpest India Ltd, was founded on May 25, 1972, by Shri R.K. Dubey and initially established as a leading pesticide formulating company in Madhya Pradesh. Over the years, it has evolved to become a prominent player in Central India's agri-sector, producing around 50 pesticide products, microfertilizers, biofertilizers, and biopesticides. The company boasts a robust nationwide distribution network of over 2000 dealers and supplies to various government organizations.
With a well-equipped R&D laboratory recognized by the Government of India, the company ensures high-quality products adhering to international standards and is ISO 9001-2000 certified. 3D Blackbio DX Ltd has expanded its reach internationally, exporting to Bangladesh and Afghanistan. It ventured into diagnostics with a notable achievement in 2020, becoming the first Indian molecular diagnostics firm to receive US FDA Emergency Use Authorization for its COVID-19 detection kit. In 2023, it was rebranded following a merger with 3B BlackBio Biotech India Ltd.
