Get Started with Tradomate’s Screener
Once you log in to Tradomate.one, head to the Screener tab.
Here you can see the market pulse at a glance with the Top Gainers and Top Losers in nifty50, the stocks that are in News, and the media talk via Wordcloud.
You will also see two options:
- Use one of the ready-made screen templates
- Create your own custom screen from scratch
Prefer a Ready-Made Template?
If you’d rather not start from scratch, you can choose from one of Tradomate’s pre-made screen templates. These are built around popular strategies and market conditions.
Just click on explore predefined screens to go to the pre-made screens.
The best part?
You can customise everything, add or remove conditions manually, or use Tradomate’s AI-powered search bar to edit the screen in your own words. It’s just as flexible.
Now let’s explore how to build your own screen from scratch
Step 1: Create Your Own Screen
Click on the “Create your own screen” button which opens the New Custom Screen page, perfect for traders who want full control.
Step 2: Choose Exchange and Settings
On the top-right corner, you’ll see:
- Exchange selection: Choose between NSE or BSE
- Duplicate screen option (Will be enabled once you save the screen)
- Alert option (Coming soon)
- Save: To save your screen, so you can come back anytime
Step 3: Set Index and Sector Filters
Next to the “All active filters” heading, you’ll find options for:
They each have their own dropdowns, so you can narrow your search to a specific index or sector.
Want to scan everything? You can choose “All Stocks” and “All Sectors” to widen your search across the full market.
Step 4: Using the Logic Builder Bar
Here’s where the magic happens.
You can combine things like:

There are three ways to create the screener logic:
1. Type in Your Own Words (Spoken Language)
Tradomate’s AI understands plain language.
You can type your query the way you speak. In Hindi, English, Hinglish, Gujarati, Kannada, or any other language you’re comfortable with.
2. Use AI Auto-Suggestions
As you type, Tradomate’s AI gives smart suggestions.
Click on one to instantly generate the condition.
Important:
If you’re typing manually (without selecting from suggestions), press ENTER after your query to generate your condition.
3. Use Dropdown Filters Manually
Below the search bar or in the dropdown, you can choose from:
- Math Functions
- Price Actions
- Technical Indicators
- Fundamentals
- Financial Ratios
- News
Pick exactly what you want, without needing to type anything.
Step 5: Managing Your Conditions
Once your conditions appear, you can do the following to customise it further:
- Duplicate: Click the blank page icon to copy a condition
- Delete: Click the trash bin icon to remove it
- Edit or Expand: Click the down arrow to see full details or tweak it manually
To add another filter, either:
- Type in the search bar again
- Click on “+ New Condition” below your current one
Step 6: Save and Run
Once you’re satisfied with your setup, just click “Save & Run” button on the top right.
Your screen will run and show you matching stocks instantly.
