About TGV Sraac Ltd TGV Sraac Limited, established on June 24, 1981, is a key player in the Chlor-Alkali industry, manufacturing products like caustic soda, liquid chlorine, and hydrochloric acid. As the flagship company of the TGV Group, it also produces Chloromethane, Castor Derivatives, and Fatty Acids. Initially starting with a production capacity of 22,440 TPA of caustic soda in 1988, the company has expanded to 69,500 TPA, utilizing advanced Bipolar Membrane Cell Technology.
To address the energy demands of its power-intensive operations, TGV Sraac has invested in captive power generation, including a 3 MW wind farm and a 37.8 MW power plant in Bellary. The company is also modernizing and diversifying its operations, launching projects like a flaker facility for caustic soda flakes and planning a Rs 105-crore PVC plant in Kakinada. In 2017, the company rebranded from 'Sree Rayalaseema Alkali and Allied Chemicals Limited' to 'TGV Sraac Limited'.
