About Jindal Poly Films Ltd Jindal Poly Films Limited (JPFL) is a leading Indian manufacturer of flexible packaging films, specializing in Biaxially-Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate (BOPET), Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Films (BOPP), and several other film types. Founded in 1974, the company operates the world’s largest integrated facility for producing BOPET and BOPP films, located in Nasik, Maharashtra. Over the years, JPFL has expanded its production capabilities significantly, including the acquisition of ExxonMobil's global BOPP films business in 2014, which added five manufacturing facilities across the USA and Europe to its portfolio. JPFL has undergone a series of strategic mergers, acquisitions, and demergers to enhance its market presence, including a notable demerger of its photo films business in 2019. In 2022, the company transferred its packaging films business to JPFL Films Pvt. Ltd. after a significant investment by Brookfield Asset Management. JPFL’s subsidiaries include Jindal France SAS and Hindustan Polyester Ltd, among others, underpinning its extensive global operations in the flexible packaging sector.
