About Bansal Wire Industries Ltd Bansal Wire Industries Ltd., a prominent player in India's steel wire industry, was initially established in December 1985 and became a public limited company in 1995. As the largest stainless steel wire manufacturer and the second largest steel wire producer in India, the company offers a diverse range of products including high and low carbon steel wires, galvanized wires, cable armoring wires, stainless steel wires, and specialized wires with various applications. Having its roots in wire trading since 1938, Bansal Wire entered manufacturing in 1985, progressively expanding its product lines to include cable wires, stainless-steel wires, galvanized wires, and high carbon wires over the years. By 2018, it became the largest producer of stainless-steel wire products. The company further strengthened its position by acquiring a 26% shareholding in Bansal Steel & Power Limited, making it a subsidiary. With a production capacity of 72,176 MTPA for stainless steel and 206,466 MTPA for steel, Bansal Wire Industries is seeking to raise Rs 745 Crore through an Initial Public Offering.
