About Nifty100 Enhanced ESG The Nifty100 Enhanced ESG Index is designed to reflect the performance of companies within the Nifty 100 index based on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk scores. Companies with severe ESG risks are excluded from the index. The weight of each constituent is determined by its free float market capitalization and modified ESG risk score. The index is reconstituted semi-annually and has a base date of April 1, 2011, with a base value of 1000. It can be used for benchmarking, creation of index funds, ETFs, and structured products.
