About Excel Industries Ltd Excel Industries, established in 1960 and part of A C Shroff's Excel Group, specializes in industrial chemicals, specialty chemicals, bio-fertilizers, and bio-remediation technologies. The company underwent significant restructuring, divesting its agri-business to Excel Crop Care Ltd in 2002, focusing on four main divisions: Agri Business, Chemicals Business, Environ & Biotech Business, and Life Sciences Business. Excel Industries has consistently expanded its production capacities, notably in specialty chemicals and polymer additives. Excel also acquired NetMatrix Crop Care Limited's chemical manufacturing unit in 2019 to bolster its market presence. Recent efforts have focused on sustainability, including wastewater treatment enhancements aimed at achieving zero liquid discharge capabilities, and reducing carbon footprint through improved fuel economy and automation.
