The Trust issued units worth Rs. 6,640 Crore in March 2019 and holds significant investments in non-convertible debentures (NCDs) for generating income.
The Trust's asset management includes strategic financial maneuvers, such as the acquisition of 100% equity in Pipeline Infrastructure Limited (PIL) and the redemption and restructuring of NCDs to optimize returns and manage liabilities. The Trust's Sponsor, Rapid Holdings 2 Pte Ltd., is part of the globally recognized Brookfield Asset Management group, with a substantial presence in infrastructure sectors worldwide. Recent internal restructuring has positioned the Trust as a step-down subsidiary of Brookfield Manager Holdings Limited, enhancing its strategic alignment within the Brookfield portfolio.
