About Anantam Highways Trust Anantam Highways Trust is an Indian infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) focused on investing in road infrastructure assets. The Trust was established on July 24, 2024, by Alpha Alternatives Fund Advisors LLP (Sponsor), a subsidiary of Alpha Alternatives Holdings Private Limited. Registered with SEBI on August 19, 2024, the Trust operates under the InvIT framework and regulations. Its primary objective is to manage infrastructure investments, particularly national highway projects, aiming to generate stable returns for its investors through toll revenue and annuity payments. Alpha Alternatives Fund Advisors LLP is a multi-asset class, multi-strategy asset management entity that designs investment solutions across infrastructure, credit, real estate, equities, commodities, and fixed-income securities. The Trust's governance structure includes Alpha Alternatives Fund-Infra Advisors Private Limited as the Investment Manager and Arsenio Strategies Private Limited as the Project Manager, ensuring professional oversight in managing its operations. Anantam Highways Trust holds an initial portfolio of nine national highway projects spread across Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry. These projects are partly owned via eight Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) with full ownership and one SPV with a 49% stake. The portfolio, managed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), involves shared financing between the Trust and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) during the construction phase, ensuring reduced financial risks and predictable cash flows post-completion. The Trust aims to raise ₹400 crore through its Initial Public Offering (IPO) and expand its capacity to undertake future infrastructure projects.
